Hematology and Oncology clinic, Inpatient hematology/oncology consults

Schedule is M-F, 8 am-5 pm

Occupational Medicine (Pre-placement, Return to work, Fit for Duty, Silica, Chromium surveillance and post exposure, Employee TB surveillance and post exposure, Employee bloodborne pathogens exposure, Firefighter & safety, OSHA required medical screening and surveillance, Qualitative respiratory fit testing, CAOHC certified Audiometry, NIOSH certified pulmonary functions testing, Workers' Compensation Treatment and Management, FMCSA DOT exams, Biometric screening and review of results, Flu vaccinations, COVID vaccinations, and Ergonomic evaluations. Employee wellness such as care for general illnesses (ie. allergies, bronchitis, ear infections, rashes, urinary tract infections, etc.), Injury treatments such as stitches/ suturing, simple fractures, mild to moderate burns and X-rays, Immunizations, Virtual visits,

Clinic location is a combined service site of Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care. Each specialty simultaneously occurs in overall clinic flow. Multiple providers, dedicated to respective specialty, staffed Monday through Friday. Scheduled Occupational Medicine visits occur Monday through Friday.

Will do virtual for any nursing student that needs it.

I have an MSN in Education. I am currently working as an RN and a case manager in a Trauma 1 hospital. I have been there for over 20 years. I have been an Adjunct instructor for over 10 years. I am available to precept students in their BSN or MSN degree programs.

The practice setting is a community college. This opportunity is for those seeking a MSN in Nursing Education. The setting prepares pre-licensure nursing students in class, lab, and clinical settings to bridge the gap between theory and practice. I have 20 years of nursing experience in progressive care and 14 years of experience in nursing education. I am a Certified Nurse Educator and serve on committees in the healthcare and local community.

In the community college setting, you'll work in a dynamic, supportive environment that values student-centered learning and emphasizes critical thinking and hands-on experience. This includes focus on creating lesson plans, assessments, active learning, simulation, and providing constructive feedback to students. Support is provided while you develop/refine your own teaching style.

Executive management of healthcare in state prison system

Ramesh (Ram) Upadhyaya has almost 30 years of experience in health care, beginning with his first position out of high school as a combat medic in the U.S. Army. As a nurse, Ram has experience in hospice, home health, long term care, emergency nursing, critical care nursing, and rehabilitation nursing. Currently, Ram is the Nursing Resource Liaison for the North Carolina Department of Public Safety (NCDPS), Division of Adult Correction, Health and Wellness. He holds a bachelor's and a master’s degree in Nursing from UNCG, a Master’s in Business Administration from the Bryan School of Business and Economics, and a post-Master’s certificate in Distance Education from Thomas Edison State University. He is board certified as both a Rehabilitation Nurse (CRRN) and a Correctional Healthcare Provider (CCHP) . Ram has published articles in journals such as Journal of Rehabilitation Nursing, Advance for Nurses, and Nursing Perspectives. Correctional facility seeing people of all socioeconomic backgrounds with myriad medical needs and issues including psych, drug addiction and self-care failure.

May be difficult to gain permission and attend. However, this is very often a underserved population and should be worth the extra effort
